DESIGN
We maintain a design and development process that is appropriate to the products and services we offer.
Our design and development process is performed in controlled stages for:
Inputs
Inputs are determined to be adequate for design and development purposes, complete, and unambiguous. Conflicts among inputs are resolved. Inputs are determined by working closely with our clients, some examples of these inputs include:
- Functional and performance requirements
- Information derived from previous similar activities.
- Applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
- Identifying and categorizing risk as a results of the product or service
Controls
Controls are applied to our design and development process to ensure that we:
- Achieve design results and requirements
- Meeting progress towards defined requirements through periodic design reviews
- Include all appropriate stakeholders during design reviews.
- Retain records.
Outputs
Outputs include essential information needed to ensure that all input requirements are met:
- Capture all outputs (i.e. risks, changes, identified problems) and ensure they are meeting input requirements for the intended product of service.
Changes
Changes made during the design and development stages of the products and services are controlled and identified. We retain records of the changes, reviews, authorizations, and adverse impact actions through our Engineering Change Request
- Capture all outputs (i.e. risks, changes, identified problems) and ensure they are meeting input requirements for the intended product of service.
